Straw yellow colour with greenish reflections, with shades of small white flowers and lime zest. The bouquet is moderately intense, with minerality and on the palate it’s fairly bright, with lemony fruit supported by hints of banana, apple, and some herbal notes. It is full-flavored and harmonious supported by an elegant acidity. Grillo-based white exceeds expectations, demonstrating that there’s real quality in this variety. Grillo works perfectly with fish and shellfish appetizers, first courses with fish sauces and vegetables, with main courses of fried fish and shellfish. It can also accompany too tasty eggs and salumi.
